Installing eggdrop1.6.19

wget http://www.twiztedchat.net/downloads/eggdrop1.6.19.tar.gz

tar -xzvf eggdrop1.6.19.tar.gz

Now to change to the Eggdrop1.6.19 directory

cd

cd eggdrop1.6.19.tar.gz

Now to compile the eggdrop

./configure

After it stops then type

make config

You can now compile the bot, using

make

Now to fully install eggdrop1.6.19

make install

Now your eggdrop have been fully compiled and installed.......
Please go through your configuration file and set everything up.....
After you get your config setup you can now start the bot.....
Go to the eggdrop folder that your config is in.....
Now type this

./eggdrop -m BOTNAME.conf

After you have started the bot you need to get on that irc network that you assigned....
I start with a /whois BOTnick to make sure its connected....
Be watching your server TAB for that IRC server....
Then do....

/msg BOTname Hello

/msg BOTname pass PUTpasswordHERE

/ctcp BOTname chat

After you have typed that a box will pop up and you wanna accept it....
After you accept it there will be another window to pop up like a PM window....
When it asks you for the username you put your USERNAME in...
When it asks for your password put the password you had messaged it right before you did /ctcp BOT chat....
Now type

.rehash

.die

Now you wanna restart your bot....
Reason being is when you started the bot it was like this....

./eggdrop -m BOT.conf

Well the -m is to make the USER FILE so you can log into the bot etc etc.....
Now you must start the bot without the -m .....
Type this....

./eggdrop BOT.conf

Then your bot should start again....
After it starts do this again....

/ctcp BOTname chat

Just to make sure you can still login and assign it to channels.....
